The VFW Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the VFW Post 762 club, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth. Key responsibilities include
managing staff, scheduling, and performance management; overseeing daily operations; managing inventory; handling budgeting and financial reporting; and conducting regular meetings with staff. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, accounting and IT expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to members.
Key Duties:
• Supervise and manage the daily operation and cleanliness of the Post bar and club room
• Responsible for hiring and training of bartenders and other support staff
Review drink pricing and add inventory to the POS System
• Create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers
Retain records of purchases, receipts, and sales
• Prepare and complete documentation for deposits as required on a weekly basis and deliver to the bank • Prepare all bartenders’ shift tills with sufficient funds and accountability
• Provide weekly/monthly reports to the Post Quartermaster and House Committee
• Attend monthly Post House Committee meeting
• Schedule requests for rental of the Post club room
• Schedule and promote activities and music for the Post and club room
