Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle cash or credit transactions with precision
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours while ensuring timely service
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure the bar is well-equipped at all times
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations diligently to uphold health standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or special night-time functions
- Handle cashing out customers accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Promote sales by suggesting drink options and upselling specialty beverages or promotions
Skills
- Proven experience in food service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests
- Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and retail math is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within legal guidelines; knowledge of brewing processes is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced settings
