Job Overview
We are hiring part-time Submission Officers who will provide flexible support. These officers will handle temporary service points shifts when needed and, on other days, assist in the office with call-outs, backlogs, and general operational needs—up to 20 hours per week. Travel maybe required.
Job Description
- Accurately record customer details, including name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and visa category, using VFS-designated software.
- Proficiently operate computers and software, including internet browsing, biometric applications, scanning tools, and email communication.
- Capture biometric data (fingerprints, digital photograph, and signature) using VFS-provided software and hardware.
- Process customer payments via credit/debit cards using VFS POS terminals, reconcile transactions at the end of each workday, and submit batch closure files to the supervisor.
- Scan and verify customer-provided documents and passports using VFS hardware and software.
- Organize and package passports and documents in sequential order, preparing them for courier dispatch.
- Hand over sealed application packages to the designated courier partner (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and document the shipping label details for tracking.
- Submit an end-of-day report to the supervisor summarizing daily activities.
