What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Material Handler position at VFF Acquisition?
Successful and growing manufacturing company is seeking an upbeat worker for the factory. Day shift, 20 hrs. ~8am-12pm
Job will include but is not limited to:
- Assist with production in factory
- Clean production area
- Factory prep
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
- Measure and pour ingredients
- Read and interpret scales, record data
- Load and unload processing equipment
- Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
- Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
- Pack goods to be shipped
- Take instructions from supervisors
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted - push/pull 400 pounds
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Reliable mode of transportation
We are a drug free office and have a testing policy in place
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
