What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper (required) 21+ position at VEx - The Vietnam Experience?
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
- Support line cooking and assist with simple cooking tasks during serving hours
- Help prepare and assemble dishes under the supervision of chefs during busy service periods
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans and ensure proper storage
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
- Help receive, unpack, and store kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Refill supplies such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning materials
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights
- Willingness to learn and take instructions
Work Environment:
The role may involve shifts, including evenings, and weekends.
Pay: $22.77 - $27.42 per hour
