What You'll Do
- Assist with planning, organizing, and leading resident activities and events
- Provide individualized engagement opportunities for residents
- Encourage participation in programs that promote physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being
- Transport residents to activities and outings using a company vehicle when needed
- Complete documentation related to activities and resident participation
- Work collaboratively with team members throughout the community to provide exceptional resident experiences
Qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to participating in ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities
- Basic computer and iPad proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and video communication platforms
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and resident needs
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on integrity, collaboration, and service excellence
- A clean driving record and the ability to safely transport residents using a facility vehicle
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Pass a physical examination
- Lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Reach above shoulder level and below waist level
- Navigate stairs safely
- Bend, stoop, twist, and move throughout the day
- See, hear, and communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and team members
- Remain on your feet and actively engaged for extended periods of time
- Operate a vehicle safely
