Position Overview
The People Development Coordinator (Human Resource Coordinator) serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and team member development.
This role combines strategic human resources responsibilities with relationship-focused leadership, helping ensure that team members have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do
As the People Development Coordinator, you will:
- Recruit and attract qualified candidates through sourcing, interviewing, and selection activities
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired team members
- Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment processes
- Promote engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace satisfaction and team morale
- Support educational programs, training opportunities, and professional development efforts
- Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs and workforce planning initiatives
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Respond to employee questions and help foster positive employee relations
- Assist with retention strategies designed to support long-term team member success
- Serve as an ambassador for Brookestone View's mission, values, and culture
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Two or more years of Human Resources, recruitment, employee relations, or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
