Position: Registered Nurse Triage - Endocrinology
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hours: Varies Monday - Friday, day shift; no weekends, holidays, or on-call
Responsibilities: Under supervision, provide patient care via inbound/outbound calls, assess caller needs, deliver patient education, manage glucose monitoring, handle insurance pre-authorizations and referrals, and maintain exam rooms. Demonstrate strong customer service, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills, addressing both acute and preventative health needs.
Qualifications: Current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, preferred office RN and BSN, and experience in endocrinology is highly desirable. Must be a self-starter, able to handle high-stress situations, and capable of physical activities like standing, lifting, and reaching. Effective communication skills and flexibility for scheduling changes are required.
