RN-Lead Patient Flow Coordinator (11a-11p) Johnson City, TN

The Patient Flow Coordinator Team Lead is responsible for overseeing patient bed management, staff assignments, and workflow coordination to ensure efficient hospital throughput.

• Manage bed placement, documentation, and staff coverage, escalating issues as needed.
• Assist in placing emergent patients and resolve bed management challenges, supporting team education and morale.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient movement, prioritizing based on acuity and capacity.
• Monitor real-time throughput metrics, manage capacity dashboards, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with departments such as Transfer, Communications, Behavioral Health, and LTC to optimize patient placement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain accurate data in electronic records, and promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
  
  

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree—RN or LPN—with 5 years of clinical experience. The role is night shift, with rotating weekends, and does not require travel or on-call duties.
