Role Overview: The Residency Program Director and Hematology Oncology Pharmacist provides expert pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapy for patients. They lead and oversee the hematology and oncology pharmacy services, mentor pharmacy residents and staff, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medication management, including review, dosing, and monitoring for safety and efficacy.
• Manage and mentor residents, students, and staff, fostering professional development.
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide expert consultation on pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetics.
• Develop evidence-based protocols, oversee medication dispensing, and analyze medication utilization trends.
• Coordinate pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets and performance metrics.
• Provide staff performance management, education, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement, operational efficiency, and patient care initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required; Doctoral Degree in Pharmacology is preferred. Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in medication management and team collaboration.
