Registered Nurse - Pain Management - Per Diem

Role Overview: Provides primary nursing support in a clinical setting, assisting physicians with patient diagnosis and treatment, and educating patients on their conditions and adherence to treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as clinic lead, overseeing clinic flow and staff, and supporting daily operations.
• Triages patient calls and documents medical histories, vital signs, and exam preparations.
• Assists providers with invasive procedures, prepares laboratory specimens, and manages diagnostic equipment.
• Administers medications, including IV push and topical treatments, and manages IVs and infusion therapies.
• Provides patient education, monitors invasive procedures, and ensures safety during treatments.
• Maintains sterile techniques, prepares procedure rooms, and educates staff and patients on treatments.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• At least one year of RN experience preferred.
• Competency in sterile technique, medication administration, and invasive procedures.
• Ability to monitor and operate diagnostic equipment and respond to acute changes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
