Position: Registered Nurse in Level 2E Labor and Delivery unit, providing specialized maternal care in Elmhurst, IL.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies.
  • Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and plan/evaluate care.
  • Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Float to mother-baby units as needed, ensuring comprehensive patient support.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.
  • Current Illinois RN licensure.
  • Certifications: CPR, ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP (within specified timeframes).
  • Preferred experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
