Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred
- One year of RN experience or completion of a recognized nurse residency or LPN experience for internal candidates
- Current RN licensure recognized by NCSBN
- Competency in patient assessment, care planning, and safety protocols
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients and families
- Commitment to professional development and compliance with policies and regulations
- Conduct patient assessments and prioritize care needs
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and providers
- Deliver direct patient care within scope of practice
- Delegate tasks and supervise team members as appropriate
- Monitor care quality and implement improvements
