Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate degree in nursing or Bachelor's in related field; appropriate licensure and certification for nurses or Physician Assistants.
- Valid state licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA registration.
- Ability to perform procedures, conduct telehealth encounters, and manage urgent situations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with legal and organizational policies.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity skills.
- Gather pertinent medical histories and conduct examinations.
- Assess data to formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Perform clinical procedures within scope and in accordance with regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Document all clinical activities accurately and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and seek guidance when needed.
- Participate in quality assurance, training, and continuing education activities.
- Obtain and maintain necessary credentials and licensure.
- Participate in interviews and credentialing processes.
- For APNs, obtain full prescriptive authority within two years.
