Responsibilities include inpatient infectious disease consultations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teaching residents and medical students, documenting in Epic EMR, and engaging in quality improvement efforts. The role offers a primarily inpatient focus with a half-day outpatient clinic. Support includes an antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist and a robust pharmacy. The position involves call duties shared equally, with a founding two-physician partnership.
Qualifications include medical license in Michigan, DEA license, and infectious disease certification. The candidate should be prepared for initial call responsibilities. Teaching opportunities with residents and students are available, with potential for academic appointment.
