Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Seeking a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for outpatient Addiction Medicine in Espanola, NM. No prior addiction experience required; training provided. The role involves

• Providing assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients with substance use disorders, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
• Prescribing and monitoring medications like buprenorphine and naltrexone
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Educating patients on addiction and lifestyle changes
• Conducting follow-up, documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Providing crisis intervention when needed
  
  

Qualifications include a Master’s/Doctoral degree, active license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience, with some addiction medicine background preferred.
