- Prepare, position, and explain MRI exams to patients, addressing questions and ensuring comfort.
- Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
- Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as needed.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, conducting quality control tests and reporting issues.
- Enter data into imaging systems and process images, demonstrating proficiency in anatomy identification.
- Support radiologists and physicians by providing imaging support and troubleshooting equipment or procedural issues.
- Handle non-controlled medications for procedures and manage supply levels.
- Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Specialty Training Program.
- Knowledge of MRI safety, protocols, and imaging techniques.
- Ability to operate imaging systems, perform quality control, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
