Mental Health Therapist / Intern

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern (LMHC/I) provides outpatient mental health services under supervision, gaining practical experience in counseling, behavioral health, and social services.

• Supports patient growth through assessments, outreach, case management, and therapy.
• Participates in treatment planning, including diagnosis and goal setting, using DSM-5, ASAM PPC, LOCUS, and CUMHA criteria.
• Conducts individual and group evidence-based therapy sessions, including telehealth via Zoom.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and responds to crises as needed.
• Maintains documentation, adheres to policies, and attends scheduled training and meetings.
• Requires at least 21 years of age, valid intern status, background checks, and ability to relocate to Fernley, NV.
  
  

Compensation is $48-$56/hour with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Full-time, in-person role with a 10- or 8-hour shift schedule.
