Med Care Manager

Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document medication administration accurately in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observing for health changes and symptom relief.
• Report refusals, concerns, or adverse reactions promptly.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory policies.
• Complete narcotic counts and keep medication carts and rooms organized and clean.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED; age 18 .
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Previous senior care experience preferred.
