Emergency Room RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
• Maintains a safety-sensitive approach, ensuring alertness and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Active RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
