- Supports patient care by transporting patients, medications, blood products, and specimens as directed by licensed personnel.
- Communicates effectively with nursing staff, patients, and families regarding transport tasks.
- Handles patient equipment and supplies properly, maintains equipment cleanliness, and uses proper body mechanics.
- Coordinates patient arrivals and departures, and maintains knowledge of the transport system.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certifications: BLS or equivalent upon hire.
- Preferred: 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience.
