This position involves performing and interpreting a wide range of laboratory tests, from simple blood analyses to complex procedures, to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and advanced laboratory analyses using established protocols.
- Interpret test results, communicate findings to physicians, and escalate abnormal results.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment.
- Ensure quality control and proper storage of hazardous materials.
- Assist in selecting appropriate tests and stay informed of new developments through literature review and seminars.
- Participate in proficiency testing programs and perform preventive maintenance.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant professional license/certification (e.g., ASCP certifications, CLT, CLS, or equivalent).
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to perform frequent lifting, standing, and repetitive movements.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and effective communication skills.
