Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Role Overview: Provides anesthesia care in the operating room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Responsible for preoperative evaluations, postoperative follow-up, and acting as a patient advocate, liaison, and advisor to patients, families, and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient status during procedures
• Perform preoperative assessments and postoperative care
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support expanding regional surgical services
• Participate in a team-focused environment with a full range of specialties
• Provide backup call coverage and overtime as needed
• Mentor and support SRNAs in a growing department transitioning to 24/7 coverage
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree in Nursing (required)
• Previous anesthesia experience preferred, with SRNAs encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Comfort with state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment and technology
