In collaboration with the Supervising Physician, provide diagnostic management and treatment for Urgent Care patients.
- Qualifications include graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, NY State licensure and registration, Board Certification, and current CPR certification. FNP certification is required for NPs.
- Preferred experience in emergency medicine or urgent care, with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and professional judgment.
- Responsibilities encompass patient assessments, documentation in EMR, discharge instructions, quality improvement activities, and adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain effective communication with the medical team, promote patient-centered care, and stay informed of care activities and potential issues.
- Obtain at least 100 hours of CME biennially, develop efficient resource utilization, and support a culture of quality and safety.
- Compensation ranges from $54.93 to $78.09/hr, with benefits including health, dental, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
