Ready to be part of the action? We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, proven leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of financial reporting. This role will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. You'll be responsible for managing a team, implementing financial controls, and contributing to the company's financial strategy. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of two accounting professionals. Collaborate with global accounting partners in order to accomplish company wide goals. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Manage and coordinate external audits. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. Provide support in M&A and new company integrations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred. 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience. 1 years of experience in a management or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. This role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office/week) - based in New York City, NY. Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000K/year USD Please note that the Salary Range included is a guideline only.
