Job Summary
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage menus, supporting restaurant operations, and ensuring the front-of-house area remains clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage guest seating and maintain an organized waiting list.
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus to assist guests.
- Answer telephone calls and follow hospitality and customer service standards.
- Keep the host/hostess station stocked, organized, and presentable.
- Monitor and replenish restroom supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
- Support a team environment focused on excellent guest service and sales.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional restaurant environment.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support restaurant operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant hospitality standards and telephone etiquette.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
