What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Veterinary Nurse - Full or Part Time Hours position at Vets for Pets?
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join at Orpington Vets for Pets!
With a brilliant local reputation, you’ll be joining a strong, inclusive clinical team made up of 3 RVN’s with a wealth of experience, 2 SVN’s and 4 vets including a Pg cert holder in surgery. We also have a great team of 3 Receptionists and 5 VCA to support the client journey, freeing our nurses up to carry out their role effectively.
We are based on the Nugent Shopping Park inside the Pets At Home store, at the heart of the local community. The practice benefits from having great local amenities as well as fantastic transport links; just 15 minutes to London Bridge and 10 minutes to beautiful countryside.
Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients, including running nurse clinics, laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, state of the art Ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental machine and laboratory. With such a wide variety of cases, no two days are the same for our team.
You should have excellent customer service and communication skills and a genuine interest in animal welfare; enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
We will consider various work patterns, and this can be a full or part-time role. The weekend rota is 1 in 3 Saturdays to keep it fair for everyone and provide a good work/life balance.
