Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material cost estimates for residential remodeling projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and client requirements.
• Estimate construction project budgets, including labor, materials, permits, and other associated costs.
• Coordinate all phases of remodeling projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure the availability of materials and services needed for each project.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create detailed proposals, reports, schedules, and documentation for projects.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues promptly, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and other project documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in residential remodeling or renovation projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information and manage client expectations.
• Experience in material cost estimating and understanding of construction budgeting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
