Job Description:
Responsible for performing inspections on materials, equipment, electromechanical assemblies, panel/module level assemblies. Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, or systems for in process or final assemblies. is responsible for successfully validating products and documentation for compliance to all applicable requirements and preparing items for presentation to the customer for acceptance and delivery.
Essential Functions:
Inspection of products and their associated documents in accordance with L3Harris Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, customer specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, and other requirements as needed.
Ensure that products and services conform to established company standards.
Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement of the processes and products.
Understand and apply the elements of corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis.
Provide training and mentor new inspectors.
Able to work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May act as a facilitator and coordinate work efforts as directed by leadership.
Provide feedback on Inspection Control Plans for MN’s worked in area.

Proven experience in collaborative problem-solving and workload balancing within a team environment.
