Description
You will be a Program Quality Engineer for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) Santa Barbara Focalplane team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products from suppliers across the United States, implementing quality‑control processes, and driving supplier performance excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing the program’s quality plan, serving as the primary point of contact for quality issues, and guiding cross‑functional teams toward continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
Developing, implementing, and maintaining the program quality plan to meet contractual and customer requirements.
Analyzing quality data, leading root‑cause investigations, and driving corrective‑action initiatives.
Conducting audits, inspections, and surveillance activities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Communicating quality status, metrics, and progress updates to the Integrated Program Team and senior leadership.
Collaborating with supplier quality, process engineering, manufacturing, and systems teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $77,000 - $133,400.
