Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a Materials Planning and Logistics Manager. This is an on-site position based at our Ellisville, MO distribution center. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What You’ll Do
The Materials Planning and Logistics Manager is responsible for inventory management, material handling, systems information flow, root cause analysis, shipping and logistics execution, and Inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end inventory processes across the DC, including management of ~$10M in finished goods inventory, cycle counting programs across a 2-shift operation, and maintaining physical inventory exemption.
Own inventory accuracy–related DC High-5 metrics through strategic projects, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in receipt, storage, picking, and material flow processes.
Develop and optimize the strategy for location accuracy, including monitoring, auditing, and standard work documentation for Inventory Technicians.
Create visibility to in-transit inventory from interunit and external supply partners; translate insights into proactive advance planning with the DC Operations team.
Analyze data including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare consolidated managerial reports.
Oversee day-to-day shipping, receiving, and material handling operations; evaluate operational performance to support team performance management.
Collaborate with the extended Bussmann Division SCM team to align DC inventory strategy with logistics, procurement, planning, and quality functions.
Adhere to and enforce all safety rules and procedures; report unsafe conditions to management or the EHS Manager.
Provide backup support to the DC Operations team.
