From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company's well-oiled onsite operation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise employees who are responsible for the maintenance and security of the organization's buildings and grounds

Schedules maintenance and monitors the emergency power systems

Supervises all daily janitorial and maintenance services

Supervise Security functions and personnel

Manages all improvement projects, interdepartmental moves, building services, and third party contractors.

Trains and instructs employees on the proper use of equipment

Performs role of manager by scheduling employees, approving OT, monitoring performance, and takes disciplinary action as needed

Responsible for budgeting, tracking, and controlling departmental expenses

Directly responsible for exempt / non-exempt staff. Responsible for the performance of subordinates; makes recommendations to superiors regarding hiring, termination decisions, training and discipline

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience :

2 years related experience and / or training; and 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 or more years experience with hands on building maintenance in a commercial or industrial setting.

Skills and Qualifications :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating / maintenance / procedure instructions

Ability to work alongside facilities staff on projects such as moves, buildouts, etc

Has a basic understanding on how to use hand and power tools.

Has a basic understanding of general HVAC, electrical, and plumbing workings, maintenance, and repair.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Compensation : $54,650.00 / Year - $78,100.00 / Year
