Job Summary
As a Belt Technician at Belt Power, LLC., you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related products either in-house or at a customer site.
Duties / Responsibilities
Work is generally performed in a fabrication shop environment. The noise level is moderately loud. Generally well-ventilated and well-lit. Shop employees may be required to wear protective clothing. The operation of heavy equipment and strict safety regulations are required.
Physical Demands
The Belt Technician may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls, tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, install, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position in a shop. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional weekend work.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Build/repair belts and conveyor belt components
- Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting.
- Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain the stock area, follows sales orders.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
- Perform duties to fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting.
- Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved. Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment
- Detect and report defective equipment, material, and any improper operations or unusual conditions.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner
- Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong mechanical background
- The ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure.
