As an Advanced Engineering Tech for Intelligence Systems, you’ll be supporting a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) developing unique mechanical and structural systems, working on small technical teams and coordinating with IPT Leads to complete assignments. Our program offers opportunity to see the development of technical solutions from concept level through use in operational environments, with extensive hands-on participation assisting engineers with a wide range of fabrication/construction, prototyping, testing, and training tasks. Program work products include specialized tools, structural systems, hardware components, assemblies, and prototypes supporting both technology development tasking and customer operations initiatives.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the carpentry and general construction trades; hands-on construction experience with an interest/ability in developing innovative solutions to unique problems; high attention to detail with the ability and flexibility to work in an often-dynamic environment; ability to work under general supervision, alone, and/or with a team of project technicians and engineers, as specific tasking dictates.

Target salary range: USD $36.00/Hr. - USD $39.00/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

What Sets You Apart
- TS/SCI with polygraph is helpful
- Background supporting mechanical and/or civil engineering projects with demonstrated proficiencies in the construction and fabrication of hardware prototypes and proof-of-concept mock-ups
- Familiarity with building codes and engineering standards is a plus
- Flexibility and willingness to work with multi-disciplined teams on a range of tasking, sometimes in new technology areas, outside the ranges of your expertise
- Ability to operate a range of moving equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles
- Minimum Secret-level clearance transferrable at time of hire required, TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred
