Veterinary Surgical Centers (VSC), a leading multidisciplinary specialty practice in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD. This role is ideal for an Urgent Care Veterinarian with a strong interest in inpatient care, receiving urgent care cases and a collaborative approach to medicine. The schedule for this role will initially be Sunday through Thursday, 8-to-10-hour shifts between the hours of 4pm to 12 am.
Our Rarebreed state-of-the-art hospital, which boasts MRI & CT Scanners, an Ultrasound Unit, an Endoscopy Suite, and multiple ORs, is focused on supporting our veterinary community. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Examine, diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats)
- Work with our team of board-certified surgeons to provide post-operative case management
- Collaborate with our team of surgeons to create and implement treatment plans for our in-house patients
- Provide guidance and leadership for our staff, including LVTs, assistants, imaging technicians, visiting staff and more
COMPENSATIONS AND BENEFITS
The starting salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to180,000.00 annually with an incentive bonus of up to $50,000.00.

REQUIREMENTS
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree or equivalent degree required
- Ability to attain MD Veterinary License
- Excel in managing time, prioritizing tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment
