Veterinary Specialty Center, a 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care employee-owned veterinary hospital, has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional individual to join our team in an exciting environment. Our Ward/Kennel Attendants learn how much they enjoy the veterinary field so they often move up within the hospital and become Veterinary Technician Assistants or they even decide to go back to school and become Veterinary Technicians or Veterinarians.

Starting salary is $17.00/hour

Please note: Starting wage may be higher than listed depending on your experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Restraining patients as needed during treatments and exams
• Basic care for pre-op and post-op patients
• Observing patients and keeping accurate records
• Admitting and releasing patients
• Cleaning of runs & cages and other basic cleaning tasks
• Stocking all departments with food, towels, and blankets for our patients
