Position Overview
VSI is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Clerk to support the Pricing, Purchasing, and Sales teams with administrative and analytical tasks that help maintain accurate pricing and product margin data. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, staying organized, and supporting cross-department collaboration.
The Pricing Clerk plays a key role in monitoring pricing communications, maintaining product information in company systems, assisting with margin reporting, and supporting pricing initiatives and trade show events.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor the general pricing email inbox and respond to routine questions, escalating more complex inquiries to the Pricing Coordinator or Pricing Manager.

Assist with monitoring product margins and reviewing margin-related reports.

Support analytic initiatives aimed at improving sales performance, pricing accuracy, and revenue growth.

Enter and maintain product and pricing data in company systems, including:

New product setup

Product stocking status updates
-
Minor pricing adjustments
-
Margin maintenance
-
Running pricing and margin reports
-

Assist with pricing tasks related to company trade shows and other promotional events.

Maintain organized records of requests, reports, and correspondence.

Support tasks assigned by Pricing and Purchasing team leaders.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

Attend required meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and communication at all times.

Keep workspaces organized and maintain strong housekeeping habits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary skills for the role

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general computer systems
