ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Job Description:

The Assistant Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in our management team, overseeing the productivity, safety, and efficiency of the warehouse operations across the morning/day shift. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring that the warehouse meets its productivity goals while maintaining high safety and inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Operations: Manage daily warehouse productivity, staffing, and inventory levels.
• Safety First: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and conduct daily safety checks.
• Team Leadership: Coach and guide supervisors, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Budget Management: Monitor labor hours and control overtime to stay within budget.
• Customer Service: Drive improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 4 years in warehouse operations or 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead teams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Customer Focus: Excellent communication and service skills.
• Driver’s License: Clean DMV record 

Physical Demands:

• Regular use of phone, computer, and other communication devices.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. and operate equipment to move pallets over 2000 lbs.
• Moderate to high noise levels and varying temperatures in the warehouse environment.
