We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Veterinary Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing to support exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and fecal examinations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers.
- Prepare and process samples.
- Maintain quality control and quality assurance records.
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and storage.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician certification/licensure preferred but not required.
- Experience in veterinary laboratory procedures and analyzer operation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems and computer software.
