Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Eye Clinic Monterey Bay. The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for assisting during patient appointments, ophthalmic and laboratory tests, patient care and restraint, medical record-keeping, cleaning and organization, client education, customer service, and assisting with veterinary medicine tasks to support the ophthalmology services provided at the clinic.
Qualifications
- Animal Care and Pet Care skills
- Client Education and Customer Service skills
- Experience in Veterinary Medicine
- Ability to handle and care for animals gently and safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- English language and computer proficency
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a plus
