Currently there is an opportunity for a full-time assistant. Emergency experience is preferred, however, assistants eager to expand their skill set are encouraged to apply. This position offers support and mentorship from board-certified criticalists. Primary responsibilities include patient restraint, client communication, performing in-house laboratory diagnostics and supporting the doctor and LVT.
Our hospital is equipped with CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, hi-flow O2 and a separate ICU complete with Synder unit.
Schedule
- 5AM-6PM or 6a-6p, 3 days a week to allow for lifestyle equilibrium
- Set quarterly schedule to allow for long-term planning
- Weekend and holiday shifts required to best serve our community needs

- High level of interest in customer service and the ability to genuinely communicate with our clients, fellow team members and patients.
- Minimum of 1yr experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume GP, urgent care or ER required
