We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our crew and bring skill, kindness, and hustle to every exam room, surgery prep, and tail wag.
What You'll Do
- Keeping accurate medical records and helping answer client questions
- Prepping patients for exams and surgeries
- Administering medications as directed
- Assisting with lab testing (blood, fecal, urine, etc.)
- Cleaning and sanitizing surgical tools, kennels, and exam areas
- Monitoring post-op patients and reporting any changes
- Safely restraining patients during exams and procedures
- Helping educate pet parents on meds, treatments, and care
- Partnering with Credentialed Technicians and Veterinarians to provide top-tier care
- You have at least 3 years hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant.
- You love animals (obviously) and have a calm, steady presence
- You’re a great communicator and work well with clients and teammates
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- You’re cool under pressure and thrive in a busy hospital setting
- You’re eager to learn and grow in your role
- You value teamwork and know how to pitch in wherever you’re needed
