Responsibilities
- Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety and comfort during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Client communcation/ receptionist duties
- Conduct diagnostic radiology procedures such as X-ray imaging, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
Perform laboratory work including phlebotomy, sample collection, and processing for diagnostic testing.
- Administer medications accurately under veterinarian supervision
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about pet care instructions, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding.
- Experience
- Prior kennel experience or animal husbandry background is highly valued.
- Demonstrated veterinary experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy.
- Hands-on experience with animal restraint techniques.
- Proficiency in veterinary software systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
