💵 Compensation
Base Pay: $20–$26/hour
Urgent Care Differential: $4.00/hour
Schedule: 4-day workweek with rotating Saturdays (Urgent Care shifts included)

🔍 What We’re Looking For
A dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Requirements:
Active South Carolina LVT license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong clinical skills: patient restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dental prophy
Proficient in Avimark or similar veterinary software
Excellent communication, organization, and client education skills
⏰ Clinic Hours & Schedule
Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday:
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (General Practice)
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Urgent Care)
Sunday: Closed
Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays Required

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills including laboratory procedures, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental care, and nursing.
- Ability to administer subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and intravenous (IV) injections.
- Knowledge of commonly used veterinary medications including dosage, side effects, and client communication.
- Understanding of anesthesia and patient recovery monitoring, with the ability to recognize and report changes in patient status.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful or fast-paced environments, including medical emergencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort and confidence in handling animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds independently, and over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Capacity to sit, stand, and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods.
- Ability to work in noisy environments with sounds from animals and medical equipment.
- Routine exposure to animals that may bite or scratch.
- Occasional exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medications/controlled substances.
- Adequate hearing to understand verbal instructions and client communication.
- Vision capabilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate medical equipment and computer systems
