Experienced Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician (Full-Time)

FULL-TIME VET ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN/ PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Veterinary Associates of Acadiana is a 2.5 doctor small animal and exotic practice in the Lafayette community and we need a fantastic team member to help! We are now seeking 1 full time experienced veterinary technician/assistant.

Duties include patient care, obtaining and recording patient history, hospital cleaning and client communication. Candidates must be detail oriented and able to multitask, and work well in a team environment. Our services include wellness visits, sick appointments, surgeries and dental cleanings. Experience is required, with working knowledge of the Avimark software system. Schedule includes a mandatory every other Saturday shift from 7:30am-12:00pm. Wages commensurate with experience, with additional scrub allowance, CE opportunities, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation time, and paid holidays.

Experience: Veterinary Assistant/Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
