Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor premises and report any irregularities.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports on incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology.
- Must possess a valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations. Level 3 from DPS.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
