IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED
Field Service Technician
Full Time Position with Generous Benefits Package
$80-85K first year
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, service, and repair electromechanical equipment at customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and sales offices
- Utilizes hand tools and test equipment, such as multimeters, to perform work
- Effectively communicates technical issues and findings with the Engineering Department
- Performs in house phone troubleshooting support to customers
- Supports sales for product demonstrations
- Provides a range of known solutions to problems
- Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems
- May be required to provide after-hours phone troubleshooting support
- Will be asked to travel extensively, nationwide
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the manager
- Able to book own travel with credit card (reimbursed weekly)
- Must live within 1 hour of a major airport
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Knowledge or experience of industrial mechanical systems preferred, but not necessary
- Expert knowledge of supplied machinery (company provides extensive training)
- Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days
- Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain detailed records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
