Join our team at Veterans Multi-Service, a non-profit dedicated to serving veterans. We seek a full-time Client Intake personnel to assist veteran households, particularly those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, through our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and verify veteran housing status.
- Support case management by gathering necessary documentation and connecting veterans with VA and community resources.
- Assist veterans with application processes, including obtaining required documentation.
- Follow up with veterans regarding application status and connect ineligible veterans with alternative resources.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with community partners.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years experience in community engagement/communications, ideally with programs addressing poverty, homelessness, or personal development.
- Knowledge of social service/non-profit sectors, particularly housing/homelessness resources.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurance.
