About the Role
Join Veterans Moving America as a Mission Coordinator, an inside sales role where you’ll engage clients through phone and video calls, converting incoming leads into booked moves and delivering exceptional customer service. Founded to empower veterans, we exclusively hire U.S. Military veterans. You’ll drive sales to hit ambitious targets ($700,000/year), conduct video surveys, and coordinate missions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, relying on direct communication over text/email and working a flexible schedule that includes Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Inside Sales: Convert incoming leads, follow up on quotes, close sales, and meet monthly revenue goals (target: $700,000/year), using phone and video calls as primary communication methods, not relying on text/email as default.
- Customer Service: Conduct video surveys with clients and handle inquiries via phone and video calls, resolving issues like damage claims with professionalism.
- Coordination: Update mission details in our CRM, manage the operations calendar, and review policies and contract terms with clients.
- Team Support: Participate in sales training and occasional field support (4 hours/quarter) to stay connected to operations.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Military veteran
- Exceptional phone and video call communication skills, with comfort spending most of the day on phone and/or video calls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to prioritize phone/video over text/email for lead follow-up and client interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems creatively.
- High school diploma (some college or degree preferred).
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variable schedule, including willingness to work at least every other Saturday, with availability every Saturday preferred, within an 8:00 AM–6:00 PM daily window.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales, customer service, or professional moving.
- Prior call center, hospitality, or video-based customer interaction experience.
Salary & Compensation
- Base Pay: $16/hour, equating to $29,952/year for an average of 36 hours/week (peak: 79 hours every two weeks, May–September; lower: 65 hours every two weeks, October–April; within 8:00 AM–6:00 PM daily window; includes at least every other Saturday, every Saturday preferred; schedule TBD, flexibility required).
- Commission: 2% of gross sales, with an estimated $14,000/year based on $700,000 in annual sales.
- Bonuses: $250/month for exceeding $70,000 in monthly revenue (~51 sales), estimated at $3,000/year.
- Profit-Sharing: Up to $7,500/year from company profit-sharing plan (60% of profits shared with employees).
- Total Compensation: Approximately $47,952/year (base commission bonuses), with potential to earn $55,452/year with estimated profit-sharing, or more by exceeding $700,000 (e.g., $900,000 = $18,500 commission $3,000 bonuses $7,500 profit-sharing = $59,952).
