Planning, Design & Construction – UCLA Health Support UCLA Health’s infrastructure and growth initiatives by leading the Minor Construction Portfolio within Planning, Design & Construction. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role supervises capital projects under $640,000 and oversees a portfolio totaling approximately $10 million. You will direct project planning, financial oversight, and team performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with university and regulatory standards. In this role, you will:
- Supervise and direct the minor construction portfolio, ensuring quality, accountability, and adherence to university and local policy guidelines.
- Oversee renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and small capital construction projects from intake through completion.
- Manage project planning processes, workflow development, and execution of established procedures.
- Provide oversight of budget preparation, forecasting, variance tracking, and multi year financial planning.
- Analyze resource utilization across labor, space, equipment, and capital spend to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify trends and develop recommendations to enhance service delivery and cost effectiveness.
- Lead and evaluate staff performance, including hiring, development, performance management, and compensation recommendations.
- Ensure accountability and stewardship of operational, financial, and human resources within the department. Salary Range: $105,700 to $234,500 annually Target Salary Range is $130,000 to $160,000
